Intellicast Currrent US Surface Analysis Map  A surface map of the US which shows the current major weather features and where precipitation is occuring. Intellicast  Champaign Metro Radar  

The Metro Report is unavailable for Effingham County, but the Champaign view allows you to see much of the county. The Metro view is one of the best radar images available of the Central Illinois area with extremely high resolution.  It is updated 4 times per hour.

Weather Channel Midwest  Satellite Image  This Satellite image is color enhanced to show the clouds with the highest tops. Occasionally, the highest, coldest cloud tops produce the heaviest precipitation.
